The Language Immersion School

St. Louis Language Immersion Schools (SLLIS) operates four independent charter public schools. Our bilingual students are the global leaders of the future. We have Three elementary programs serving kindergarten to fifth grades (K-5): The Chinese School, The French School and The Spanish School. Our sixth through eighth (6-8) students at The International School receive a bilingual education in French, Spanish or Chinese.

Our Mission

To educate our students for success in a global economy by instilling intellectual curiosity and intercultural dialogue through language immersion programs. This achievement will: Prepare culturally astute leaders for success in post-secondary education institutions. Contribute to the renewal of the St. Louis region as an inclusive place where intercultural dialogue is an integral part of the community. Promote compassion, understanding and civic pride through the St. Louis Language Immersion Schools learning community.

The Green House Venture

St Louis Language Immersion Schools is a proud participant in The Green House Venture. This project provides the unified platform in our community for students to experience, first hand, both a local and global perspective of actionable sciences and skills used to care for our selves, families, neighbors, and world through food production. From our classrooms to the green house, SLLIS students will be cultivating their abilities to contribute responsibly to our current and future world.
